Body of Isaak Samveli Simonian Missing in 44-Day War Found

The body of Isaak Samveli Simonian, who went missing during the 44-day war, has been found. This information was shared on the Vayots Dzor Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, dear residents of Vayk, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the discovery of the body of Isaak Samveli Simonian, who was reported missing during the 44-day war. The wake will be held today, July 22, 2021, at the Surb Astvatsatsin Church in Malatya, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The burial will take place tomorrow, July 23, at 12:30 PM in Yerablur.”

Isaak was born in 1995. He left on October 9 and participated in the battles taking place in Jraghats. He was considered missing since October 12. As a result of search efforts, his body was found on July 18.
