A resident of Askeran, lost, crossed into an area under Azerbaijani control. He has been returned.

The Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Gegham Stepanyan, has reported that according to the information collected by the office of the Human Rights Defender, on July 22, a resident of the Aygestan community in the Askeran region, while lost in the area of Kharamort, crossed into an area under Azerbaijani control.

“With the intervention of Russian peacekeepers, the individual has been returned to the Armenian side. His life and health are not in danger,” the statement from the Artsakh Human Rights Defender said.
