Sukiasyan's Brother Admits to Firing Shots, Claims Self-Defense

The judicial investigation into the request to arrest businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan's brother, Robert Sukiasyan, continues in the first instance court.

This was reported by hraparak.am. Sukiasyan's lawyer, Gor Mikayelyan, stated before the session that Sukiasyan admits to using a firearm, but he claims that there was no criminal intent involved, as he was simply at the scene by chance and the incident was an act of self-defense.

Addressing the justifications for the arrest request, the lawyer mentioned that according to the prosecution, Robert Sukiasyan may interfere and influence the investigation of the case.

It is noteworthy that Robert Sukiasyan was arrested on July 19 in relation to a criminal case initiated over the gunfire that occurred on the evening of July 18 on Amiryan Street in Yerevan.
