Situation in Yeraskh Discussed with Military Attachés at the Ministry of Defense
On July 21, the head of the Armenian Ministry of Defense's Department of Defense Policy and International Cooperation, Levon Aivazyan, received military attachés from foreign embassies accredited in the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the MoD of Armenia.
During the meeting, the recent situation created by the provocative actions of the Azerbaijani armed forces along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, particularly in the Yeraskh region, was presented. It was emphasized that the aggressive rhetoric from Azerbaijan's military-political leadership regarding territorial claims against the Republic of Armenia undermines efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace in the region.
It was noted that while the Armenian side remains committed to a peaceful resolution of the situation, it reserves the right to take all necessary measures to prevent and respond to similar incidents.
Furthermore, it was underscored that Armenia expects a clear response from its international partners regarding such violations of international law by Azerbaijan.
