I Want to Thank for Finding Compromises in the Region: Putin to Aliyev

The meeting between the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, took place in Moscow. The official website of the Kremlin reports that President Putin expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leader for finding "compromising solutions" regarding regional regulation, emphasizing that "if we want to achieve a settlement, we must pursue the path of compromise solutions."

“Certainly, one of the most important issues remains the normalization of the situation in the region. I know that you, of course, pay great attention and importance to this matter, and I want to thank you for finding compromise solutions. These are always the most challenging, but if we want a settlement – and we all do – then we must go down that path. So far, we have managed to do that, for which I want to thank you,” said the President of Russia.
