I Have Submitted My Resignation from the Mandate, and I Will Continue My Activities as Governor. Aragatsotn Governor

The Governor of Aragatsotn, Davit Gevorkyan, announced on Facebook that he has submitted a request to the Central Electoral Commission to resign from his position as a Member of Parliament and will continue his work as the Governor of Aragatsotn.

“Dear compatriots, cherished residents of Aragatsotn, I have submitted my resignation from the mandate of a Member of Parliament to the Central Electoral Commission and will continue my activities as the Governor of Aragatsotn. I express my deepest gratitude for the trust to Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, and the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. Cherished residents of Aragatsotn, we will continue to implement our regional development programs and will not bypass any of the projects leading to a more prosperous Aragatsotn. Let's get to work together and create a more prosperous Aragatsotn, where, rest assured, there is a future and that future will be bright,” wrote Gevorkyan.
