Artak Davtyan and Arshak Karapetyan Engaged in Heated Argument and Chair-Throwing Incident

According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, on Saturday, during the workday between 17:00 and 18:00, a heated dispute occurred in the office of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Artak Davtyan, involving him and his first deputy, Arshak Karapetyan.

The newspaper reports that the argument escalated to the point of insults and throwing chairs and ashtrays at each other, after which the dispute continued in the corridor. Despite the staff being present, they could not determine the exact reasons or topics that led to the argument, although part of the dispute also moved to the corridor.

The "Zhoghovurd" newspaper attempted to verify the information with the General Staff of the Armed Forces, inquiring whether the dispute had indeed happened and what it was about. Colonel Samvel Asatryan, head of the information department, responded by stating, "Your information does not correspond to reality."
