63-Year-Old Man Nicknamed 'Malkhas' Shoots and Kills Cattle 'Zazo' and 'Zozо' for Entering His Garden

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Ijevan Police regarding an extraordinary incident that occurred yesterday, July 19, in the Tavush region.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, operational information was received at the Ijevan Police that a 63-year-old resident of Ijevan, Varazdat Kh., shot and killed two cattle with a hunting rifle in the area known as 'Aghsu'.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, Ijevan police officers quickly found Varazdat Kh. and clarified that the animals belonged to 48-year-old Karine B., a resident of Ijevan. Varazdat Kh. has confessed in the police station that he killed the mentioned cattle because they had entered his garden, and at the request of the police, he presented his 12 mm double-barreled hunting rifle, as well as a 9 mm gas pistol of the 'Walter' type.

G. Shamshyan reported that the cattle, named 'Zazo' and 'Zozо', were a source of livelihood for the victim, while the shooter is known in the village by the nickname 'Malkhas'.
