20-year-old Samvel Avetyan is the one who died in a horrific accident, having recently been discharged from the army. During the war, he was guarding the positions in Mataghis, having endured all that turmoil and survived. This was reported by journalist Aram Gevorgyan on his Facebook page.

“You might remember that a few days ago, there was a terrible accident on the Armavir-Yerevan road. A police vehicle collided with a Toyota, and as a result, two police officers and the driver of the Toyota died on the spot. The Investigative Committee wrote that the police vehicle, registered as 'Samand,' lost control, veered into the opposite lane, and crashed into the Toyota. Behind the wheel of the Toyota was 20-year-old Samvel Avetyan, who had just been discharged from the army and was guarding the Mataghis positions during the war, having survived all that disaster,” he wrote.
