Robert Sukiasyan, Brother of Khachatur Sukiasyan, Arrested

Robert Sukiasyan, the brother of businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, has been arrested. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by his lawyer, Gor Mikayelyan. The lawyer added that the arrest is unlawful, and he is currently working on an appeal against it.

"The person came on his own and presented himself to the police; there is absolutely no basis for his arrest," said Mikayelyan. He elaborated that Sukiasyan has not even been interrogated yet, but he is already arrested and currently in custody.

It is worth noting that last night, several men got into a fight at 18 Amiryan Street, inflicting injuries on each other. One of the attendees suffered a gunshot wound to the leg; the injured individual is 42 years old and a US citizen. According to media reports, the shooter is the brother of Khachatur Sukiasyan.
