Unknown Man Steals 27,000 Rubles from 94-Year-Old Blind Woman's Purse in Moscow

An unknown man in Moscow stole 27,000 rubles from the purse of a 94-year-old blind woman, according to kp.ru. The incident occurred yesterday in a residential building in the northern part of the capital.

According to the elderly woman's neighbors, a man called her at noon, offering to sell her a jar of honey. He was so polite to the pensioner that the woman could not refuse the honey.

Due to her vision impairment, the elderly woman decided to hand the man her purse so he could take the money for the honey himself. The purse contained all her savings, which the criminal took advantage of by stealing the entire amount.

Neighbors reported the incident to the police. Law enforcement is already searching for a potential suspect by reviewing footage from security cameras installed in the entrances of the building.
