Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: 3 of the Injured are Children
On July 17, at 20:36, the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received a report of an accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with injuries involved. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
Two fire and rescue units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was found that vehicles involved in the accident were a Nissan March (driver: D.G., born in 1992), an Opel Astra G (driver: E.M., born in 1984), and a Lexus, which collided on the 31st kilometer of the M-4 highway segment.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three passengers of the Opel Astra G, A. (born in 2014), D. (born in 2014), and S. (born in 2012) H. were hospitalized at the “St. Astvatsamayr” Medical Center in Yerevan, while driver E.M. was taken to Heratsi Medical University. The driver of the Nissan March, D.G., was hospitalized at the Izmirlyan Medical Center in Yerevan.
