Air Temperature to Rise by 10-12 Degrees
Attention: Due to the influx of tropical hot air currents from the Sahara Desert, from July 18 to 20, the air temperature throughout the republic will gradually rise by 10-12 degrees. From July 19 to 21, in the Ararat Valley and its foothills, in the foothills of Vayots Dzor, in the valley regions of Syunik, and in Yerevan, daytime temperatures will reach +40...+42 degrees.
In the mentioned areas, a high fire danger situation is also expected.
Throughout the republic, from July 19 to 22, dry weather is anticipated. After noon on July 18, rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, with hail possible in isolated areas.
The wind will come from the southwest at 5-10 m/s, and during thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to increase to 18-23 m/s.
In Yerevan: From July 19 to 22, dry weather is expected. On the evening of July 18, short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in certain parts of the city, with wind gusts of 18-20 m/s during the thunderstorms.
