VIDEO: Three People Killed in Accident on Armavir-Yerevan Highway

On July 14, 2021, around 21:10, a "Samand" vehicle registered with the Police of the Republic of Armenia lost control while traveling on the Armavir-Yerevan highway. The vehicle veered into the oncoming traffic lane, colliding with a "Toyota" vehicle. As a result, the driver of the Toyota and the driver and a passenger of the Samand, who were employees of the Vagharshapat Division of the Police, died at the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Vagharshapat Investigation Department of the Armavir Regional Investigation Committee under Part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Forensic examinations of the bodies have been appointed. An investigation is underway. Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the accident.
