Shooting Again Near Shushi: Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Issues Statement

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has issued a statement regarding the latest shelling of Azerbaijani positions.

On the night of July 15, the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in the area of Shushi city were shelled. It is reported that the fire was opened by illegal Armenian armed groups stationed temporarily in Azerbaijani territory, where Russian peacekeepers are also deployed.

The shelling was suppressed by return fire. There were no injuries or casualties among Azerbaijani servicemen. Notably, the Azerbaijani side claims that the Armenian side has been the aggressor following any provocation, attempting to conceal the reality.
