Major Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province: 28-Year-Old Driver Rolls Over in Mercedes Under Unknown Circumstances
On July 14, a serious car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 20:30, 28-year-old Armen Hakobyan, a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle on the 25 km section of the Yerevan-Gyumri-Bavra highway, resulting in the car rolling over.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, passengers M.A., 15, K.A., 38, and M.A., 45, all residents of Yerevan, sustained injuries and were taken to the 'Ashtarak' medical center.
The traffic police responded promptly, with officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd squad under the command of platoon commander Vache Malakyan and squad commander Hrant Galstyan arriving at the scene. Senior investigators Hayk Vardanyan and Anushavan Aghajanyan from the same squad were also on site. The investigatory work at the scene was led by H. Vardanyan, who is preparing materials on the fact.
The operational group of the Ashtarak police department also arrived quickly, led by department head Ruben Nersisyan.
