VIDEO: Police Chase Pursued Wanted Lexus, Driver Taken into Custody

On the night of July 13, police officers on patrol were informed by the operational management center that a "Lexus" model vehicle had been declared wanted. The license plate numbers of the vehicle were also reported.

One of the patrol units promptly located the vehicle on Ararat Street in Yerevan, which was traveling at a high speed. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver did not comply with their orders, leading to a chase.

Thanks to the skillful actions of the police, the Lexus was stopped at the intersection of Arshakunyats Avenue and Garegin Nzhdeh Street. Fortunately, there were no injuries, though only the vehicles were damaged. The driver was taken into custody by the Shengavit Division of the police.

His identity as a 28-year-old resident of Yerevan was established. The Lexus, sought under a criminal case related to robbery, has been moved to a secured area by the Mashtots Division of the police. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
