Video: Man in Irkutsk Threatens to Jump Holding 3-Year-Old Child

A man in Irkutsk, holding a child in his arms, stood outside a balcony threatening to jump. Police and rescuers were on the scene working to defuse the situation. Eyewitnesses stated that he was shouting that his wife was cheating on him.

It was later revealed that the man is 34-year-old Roman Terentyev. According to local media, the woman had come to negotiate with her husband and had promised Roman that she would withdraw her complaint to the police regarding domestic violence from a few weeks ago.

Terentyev and his three-year-old son stood on the edge of the balcony for almost three hours. The situation worsened when the weather deteriorated, with rain beginning to fall and strong winds starting up. However, despite these circumstances, the story had a successful outcome. The man brought the child inside the apartment and then came in himself.
