Chevrolet Collides with Railway Barrier on Abovyan-Balahovit Road, Resulting in Fatality and Injuries

On July 14, at 03:42, the Kotayk regional emergency management center received a report of a car accident on the Abovyan-Balahovit highway, near the railway line. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has announced that a rescue team from the special rescue operations center has been dispatched to the scene.

It has been determined that a Chevrolet vehicle collided with the railway barrier and overturned, resulting in one fatality and injuries. Rescuers disconnected the vehicle from power, secured the area, and extricated the body and the injured individual from the vehicle. The injured party has been hospitalized at the Abovyan Medical Center and subsequently transferred to the Yerevan “Heraprty” Clinical Hospital. Doctors have assessed the injured person's condition as serious.
