British billionaire Richard Branson is set to fly to space today. Prior to the flight's launch, Branson received a visit from Tesla founder Elon Musk.
The crew heading to space consists of six members: two astronauts and four passengers, including the billionaire himself.
Branson is preparing for his Sunday flight to space, which will be carried out by Virgin Galactic's rocket, ascending to an altitude of 15,000 kilometers. According to BBC News, the businessman stated that he wants to evaluate the flight experience independently before the paid space trips with customers commence next year.
The launch of the rocket will occur from a site in New Mexico at 07:00 local time (17:00 Yerevan time). The flight is expected to last for 1.5 hours.
