Time to Consider Establishing Medical Tourism on a Solid Basis: Kerobyan on the Influx of Iranians to Armenia

The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, believes it is time to consider the development of medical tourism. He expressed this on his Facebook page.

“The 319% increase in tourism will happen, despite certain professor-jokers. It is a good time to think about establishing medical tourism on a solid basis,” he wrote, sharing a screenshot from Iranian journalist Farnaz Fashihi's page.

The journalist shared several videos on her Twitter account, noting that Iranians are coming to Armenia en masse to receive the coronavirus vaccine. In the video, which the minister referred to, the journalist speculates that Iranians are discussing their vaccination experience.
