5 People Die in Earthquake in Tajikistan
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake has struck northern Tajikistan, according to reports from ria.ru referencing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake was recorded at 06:14 AM Yerevan time. The epicenter was located 169 kilometers southeast of the city of Khujand at a depth of 40 kilometers.
Later reports confirmed the death of 5 individuals.
