Peskov: 'Constant Communications with Azerbaijan on the Karabakh Issue'
Communications with Azerbaijan regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue are being conducted constantly within the framework of the implementation of trilateral agreements. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, in response to a question about whether any negotiations are planned with the Azerbaijani side following the meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Putin.
“Everyone agrees that the implementation of the provisions of the trilateral agreements is very important. And within the framework of their implementation, communications are being carried out with both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides,” said Peskov.
The Kremlin representative clarified that during the Russian-Armenian negotiations held on the evening of July 7, the leaders discussed bilateral relations in detail.
“The implementation of the trilateral agreements and, of course, trade and economic cooperation were discussed,” Peskov added.
