This is the 'greatest victory' of the new geopolitical reality, says Aliyev

Currently, Azerbaijan, fundamentally altering the geopolitical and geo-economic reality in the South Caucasus, is "pursuing a strategic direction aimed at cooperation, peace, and the establishment of a stable security system on a regional and global scale," said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his message to the participants of the 24th Eurasian Economic Summit, according to minval.az.

According to Aliyev, "Fraternal Turkey has provided significant support to Azerbaijan in this process." He stated, "Our victory in the war is the achievement of Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood and steadfast unity. The greatest victory of the new geopolitical reality is the Shushi Declaration. This historical document has officially confirmed the fraternal, friendly, and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey at an allied status. This document, which serves as a high guarantee of security and peace, is of strategic importance for Eurasia, including the South Caucasus," declared the Azerbaijani president.

It should be noted that a signing ceremony for Turkish-Azerbaijani documents took place in Shushi with the participation of the presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan, including the signing of the Shushi Declaration.

Ilham Aliyev mentioned that the Shushi Declaration addresses issues of mutual assistance in the defense sector between the two countries.
