A video has surfaced online showing the brutal beating of a young Roma woman from Krasnodar. Reports indicate that the girl had allegedly met a Ukrainian boy online and fell in love. She wanted to run away with him and marry, but her plans fell through.

Her relatives learned about her intention to flee and forcibly returned her home, brutally assaulting her while filming their atrocities, local news outlets report. The footage shows a man pulling the girl's hair and hitting her with his hands and feet.

It is believed that the assailant was her cousin, who claimed that the girl had stolen money from the family. However, the victim herself denies the accusation.
