Lukashenko Orders Border Troops to Seal Off Ukraine Border
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has instructed border troops to close the border with Ukraine. Lukashenko made this announcement during a solemn assembly organized on the occasion of Independence Day, which is celebrated in Belarus on July 3.
Lukashenko explained that a huge amount of weapons is penetrating from Ukraine. Additionally, according to the president, the neighboring republic, as well as Germany, the USA, Poland, and Lithuania are connected to 'covert' terrorist groups in Belarus. 'The goal of these cells is to carry out a violent change of power on a specific day,' he added.
