Kocharian May Receive Tsarukyan's Office, Vanetsyan to Get Maroukian's: 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that the significant decrease in the total number of MPs—approximately 25 mandates—has sparked enthusiasm within the ruling team. It should be noted that the previous parliament had 132 deputies, while the new one will have only 107. This indicates that budget allocations will be reduced, and some of the former offices will remain vacant.
Accordingly, the newly elected members of the National Assembly are aspiring to have two-room offices, similar to what the members of the Republican Party once had. No final decision has been made yet, but it is highly likely that the parliamentary second force, the 'Hayastan' alliance, will occupy a portion of the BHK's section.
Robert Kocharian might receive Gagik Tsarukyan's office. Meanwhile, Arthur Vanetsyan's 'Pativ Unem' party will likely be moved to the first floor, where the least desirable offices have always been located, and where 'Bright Armenia' was previously situated. Vanetsyan is expected to inherit Edmon Maroukian's office, which was once occupied by Nikol Pashinyan when he served as the leader of the 'Yelk' faction.
Interestingly, during the heated days of the elections, renovations were once again underway in the National Assembly, specifically reconstructing the heating system that had been repaired two years ago.
