Robert Kocharyan Sets Timeline for New Snap Elections
"It is evident that this government, without changing its working style and without refreshing its personnel bank, cannot effectively address the country's problems," said the second President of Armenia and leader of the "Hayastan" alliance Robert Kocharyan during his speech at the first general assembly of the alliance.
"They still do not understand that their worldview and working style have been the reasons for these problems. They have not grasped this important fact and are now resentful, continuing the new persecutions. I am simply convinced that this will inevitably lead to new extraordinary parliamentary elections. There have been elections in Armenia 2.5 years after 2018, and since this government does not solve problems but creates them, in my forecast, we are going to have new extraordinary elections in about 1.5 years," Kocharyan stated.
