What Lavrov and Cavusoglu Will Discuss in Antalya

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will travel to Antalya on June 30 at the invitation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Ermenihaber reports.

This information has been confirmed by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that Lavrov and Çavuşoğlu will discuss Turkish-Russian relations as well as a number of regional issues.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has also issued a statement regarding the meeting, stating that the heads of the foreign policy departments of the two countries will review the situation in the South Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Central Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Black Sea region.

Lavrov's agenda will also include issues related to the activation of trade and economic cooperation, combating the coronavirus pandemic, and ensuring the safety and health of Russian citizens in Turkey, especially in light of the complete restoration of bilateral passenger flights since June 22, 2021.
