Identity of the Deceased, Injured, and Drivers in Vehicle Accident in Yerevan Revealed

The identity of the deceased, injured individual, and drivers involved in a tragic vehicular accident in Yerevan on June 26 has been established within the framework of a criminal case initiated by the Yerevan investigation department of the RA Investigative Committee, under the direction of the head of the department for investigating road transport crimes.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, it has been determined that the Nissan X-Trail was driven by 19-year-old Vardan Harutyunyan, a resident of Yerevan. The deceased, 41-year-old Arthur Bakhtamyan, was hit by the vehicle and died on the way to the hospital, while 31-year-old Hasmik Hayrapetyan was transported to the hospital after being inside the parked vehicle.

Sources indicate that the deceased worked as a shift supervisor at Flash LLC, while Hayrapetyan is a lecturer at the Financial and Economic College of the Armenian State University of Economics. The driver, Harutyunyan, is a second-year student at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture.
