Armenian Grandmasters Participate in Silvel Lake 2021 International Tournament

The Silvel Lake 2021 open tournament has kicked off in Serbia, featuring 131 chess players from 27 countries, including 15 grandmasters.

Among the participants are Armenian grandmasters Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Manuel Petrosyan. After 6 rounds of play, Indian young grandmaster Nihal Sarin leads the standings with 5.5 points. Ter-Sahakyan shares the 2nd to 5th positions with 5 points, while Petrosyan is in a tie for 6th to 19th positions with 4.5 points.
