Revolutionary Decision Made in Global Football
UEFA has abolished the away goals rule. This decision will apply to all competitions organized under the organization's auspices.
From now on, if two teams finish with an equal score over two matches, the encounter will continue into extra time.
This decision will come into effect starting from the 2021-22 season. It is worth noting that the aforementioned rule has been in place since the 1965-66 season.
