More than 50 Employees of Adjara Textile in Poti Hospitalized Due to Food Poisoning
More than 50 employees of the Adjara Textile sewing factory in the city of Poti have been hospitalized due to food poisoning. After some time, part of them were discharged, while 17 people remain in the hospital. This was reported by the Rustavi2 television channel.
The director of Adjara Textile, Gia Lominadze, confirmed the incident. He also noted that only 15 workers required hospitalization, while the condition of the others deteriorated due to panic and fear. He assured that all safety and hygiene standards are being maintained on the company’s premises.
Lominadze stated that they are currently awaiting conclusions from the relevant services. It has been mentioned that the factory staff is fed once a day.
