Members of Criminal Group Arrested in Strasbourg, Including Armenians and Georgians

The law enforcement agencies in Strasbourg have arrested over ten people on suspicion of robbery and other crimes. According to TASS, they are members of an Armenian-Georgian criminal organization.

It has been reported that 12 individuals have been arrested, with 10 of them temporarily detained. The group, referred to as 'mafia-like' by local police, was involved in thefts and robberies.

The police stated that they are dealing with a division of an international criminal organization specializing in various types of theft, particularly home robberies and shoplifting.

Strasbourg police have now issued arrest warrants for hidden members of the gang. During searches conducted at the residences of the arrested individuals, a motorcycle, five firearms, over 350 cartridges, 66 bottles of alcoholic beverages, food products, more than 100 bottles of perfume from reputable brands, and various cosmetics were discovered. Additionally, over 17,000 euros were found.

Law enforcement and judicial authorities have been investigating the activities of this group since 2019.
