Fire Erupts in the Territory of Yerevan JEC; 7 Fire and Rescue Units on Site

A major fire has broken out in the territory of Yerevan JEC. Seven fire and rescue units are currently working on the site. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was noted that at 4:15 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a fire had ignited on Arin Berd Street in the territory of Yerevan JEC.

Two fire and rescue units from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yerevan have been dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, a grass-covered area of about 3 hectares is burning. A fire complexity level of '1 BIS' has been declared, leading to the dispatch of three additional fire and rescue units from the Fire and Rescue Department and an operational group from the Division of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Operations Organization.

The degree of fire complexity has been raised to a 'Number 2' call, with two more fire and rescue units from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and an operational group from the National Center for Crisis Management sent to the scene.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Implementation Center of the Fire and Rescue Forces has also been dispatched to the scene. The Deputy Director of the Fire and Rescue Department, Colonel T. Petrosyan, is present at the scene.
