59-Year-Old Passenger Dies After Serious Car Accident in Shirak
On June 24, 59-year-old Hasmik Harutyunyan passed away at the "Gyumri" medical center without regaining consciousness. She had been admitted to the hospital following a serious car accident that occurred on June 18 in the Shirak region. Five others were also taken to the hospital.
As previously reported by SHAMSHYAN.com, a major car accident took place in the Shirak region on June 18. Around 9:00 PM, vehicles driven by 51-year-old Avetis Gasparyan, a resident of Gyumri, and 28-year-old Zaven Sargsyan collided on the 110th kilometer of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. As a result of the accident, both drivers and their passengers sustained injuries, including 25-year-old Mariam Harutyunyan from the Aragatsotn region, and Russian citizens 34-year-old Arthur Abrahamyan and 65-year-old Suren Abrahamyan, along with 59-year-old Hasmik Harutyunyan from Gyumri, who were all transported to the "Gyumri" medical center.
Medical teams acted swiftly, along with the Shirak regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
