New Record in Number of Jobs in Armenia: Edward Hovhannisyan

A new record has been established for the number of jobs in Armenia. According to reports for May 2021, the number of jobs with declared income exceeding zero reached 635,000. This was announced during a Government meeting by the Head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hovhannisyan.

“This figure is higher than the comparable data from 2020, 2019, and 2018. Specifically, it is 37,000 more compared to the May 2020 data, 34,000 more than in 2019, and 87,000 more than in 2018,” stated the Head of the SRC. Additionally, the reported monthly income from declared jobs has also increased, amounting to 134.7 billion drams,” said Hovhannisyan.
