Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Ford Mustang Collides with Opel, Which Then Hits a Building; Injuries Reported

Today, on June 24th, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 03:50, at the intersection of Bashinjaghyan and Karapetyan streets, a Ford Mustang with the plate number 46 VR 046, driven by an unidentified individual, collided with an Opel driven by 56-year-old Kamo Avdalyan, a resident of Yerevan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, K. Avdalyan was transported to the Armenia Medical Center with bodily injuries, while the driver of the Ford Mustang fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind.

The impact caused the Opel to veer off the roadway and crash into a nearby building. Traffic police officers from the 1st Patrol Battalion arrived swiftly at the scene, led by Senior Inspector Hrach Aleksanyan.

The police are currently investigating the identity of the Ford Mustang's driver. According to reports from the photojournalist, the driver was a citizen of India.
