Edmon Marukyan: 'The Agenda of the Hammer and Sickle Has Triumphed in Armenia'

“We have presented an agenda of solidarity, unity, and reconciliation, and we acknowledge that this agenda has failed,” declared Edmon Marukyan, leader of the opposition Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), during a press conference today.

“The agendas of the hammer and sickle have triumphed in Armenia. Our people have decided that the 8th convening of parliament should consist of forces from Nikol Pashinyan, Robert Kocharyan, and Serzh Sargsyan... They might go to parliament, work together with solidarity and love, or they might fight every day,” noted the LDP leader.

“I don’t think this parliament will be qualitatively better than the previous one,” he added.
