Attempts to Discredit the CP’s Reputation by Linking Them to Fireworks on Election Night: Vahagn Aleksanyan
Vahagn Aleksanyan from the ruling Civil Contract party has stated on his Facebook page: "Certain circles continue to attempt to discredit the Civil Contract’s reputation by linking them to the fireworks organized on election night. We have already declared several times that the Civil Contract did NOT organize any fireworks on election night, but I will now elaborate on the two fireworks shows that took place in Yerevan.
There were two fireworks displays on Republic Street (formerly Alaverdi Street), with a certain time interval between them. On this street, there were two polling stations, at Schools 71 and 114. In both polling stations, the 'Armenia' alliance won, with results of 221-463 and 289-462 in terms of votes.
I will continue to address this topic until there are no unclear points left. Along with many of my colleagues, I have condemned the fireworks organized by the Republican Party on the anniversary of April 1, and we cannot do the same or allow it to happen ourselves."
