Will a Recount Be Conducted at All Polling Stations? Vahe Hakobyan on Recorded Violations

The recount of election results continues, with investigations still ongoing in 70 polling stations. However, we can already state that numerous violations are evident. This was stated by Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the 'Armenia' alliance, during an interview with 'Factinfo'. He reported that specifically in Syunik, soldiers voted in multiple places, which he claims has led to a decrease in the 'Armenia' alliance's support in the region.

It is noteworthy that as a result of the early parliamentary elections held on June 20, the parliamentary majority was granted the opportunity to maintain power by receiving 53.92 percent of the votes, while the 'Armenia' alliance garnered approximately 20 percent of the trust vote.

As part of the request for recounting, already loud facts of electoral fraud have been revealed. For instance, at polling station 14/8, 261 voters cast their ballots for the Armenia alliance, but only 26 were recorded. In polling station 35/17, the Armenia alliance received 258 votes, but 0 were entered. In polling station 23/47, instead of 100 votes, only 10 were recorded.

Vahe Hakobyan did not rule out that they would demand a recount at all polling stations: “I assume we will address this issue. If clear violations are evident in other stations as well, it will become clear that it is widespread,
