When Russian Peacekeepers Will Be Deployed at the Armenian Border: Avinyan on the Border Situation

Negotiations are currently ongoing. We have another round of negotiations coming up soon. I am confident that we have no room for retreat on this issue. It is unequivocal that Azerbaijani military units must withdraw from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. We will spare no effort to achieve this. This was stated by Tigran Avinyan during a conversation with reporters regarding the situation at the border and the deployment of Russian forces there.

Avinyan emphasized that there is a discussion with the Russian side on this matter, but the deployment of peacekeepers can only occur once Azerbaijani troops completely leave the sovereign territory of Armenia.
