Video: The Identity of the Individual Who Blackmailed Relatives of the Missing is Revealed
ArmLur.am reports. “In February of this year, the National Security Service announced that it had uncovered a case. An adult citizen of Armenia, using the name 'Aziz Muradov' on Facebook, established contact through the same platform with female relatives of servicemen considered missing in action from the war initiated by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh on September 27, 2020. Among those contacted was even a minor under the age of 16. Posing as an Azerbaijani, he provided false information about the whereabouts and conditions of detention of these individuals. Subsequently, he demanded nude photographs and videos be sent to his profile on the social network in exchange for specific information regarding the missing individuals, threatening to kill or commit violence against their captured relatives if they refused.
We have learned who this individual is and how many citizens he threatened in this manner. The individual is Alik Hayrapetyan. Specifically, he was able to convince around 15 women, out of over 100 individuals he contacted, who had missing relatives due to the war, to provide nude photographs of themselves in exchange for information about their loved ones.
