Suspect Arrested for Shooting at Babajanyan's Car Windshield

The individual who fired shots at the windshield of former Armenian MP Arman Babajanyan's Toyota vehicle has been identified and arrested.

Vardan Tadevosyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, confirmed this in a conversation with Armenpress. “Yes, the individual named Nikolay Kh. has been arrested,” Tadevosyan stated, adding that more details would be provided shortly.

According to preliminary information, shots were fired at the windshield of Babajanyan's Toyota vehicle, a member of the Shirinuyan-Babajanyan alliance, on June 20 around 9:30 AM from an unidentified firearm. The police reported that operational groups from the central police department and the Marash precinct arrived at the scene on 1st lane of Norq-Marashe Street. Operational investigative measures have been undertaken.
