25-Year-Old Driver Hits 2 Pedestrians in Yerevan with Mercedes CLS 500

On June 23, an accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:40, a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan, Vanush Stepanyan, hit two pedestrians with his Mercedes CLS 500 at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Tumanyan Street.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and provided assistance to the injured pedestrians by cooperating with the emergency medical team that arrived promptly on-site.

The Yerevan police are currently identifying the victims. After hitting the pedestrians, Stepanyan also collided with a traffic light regulating the intersection and a street sign.

As per the instructions of the investigator, the vehicle has been towed to a secure area of the Yerevan traffic police.
