The Issue of Taking Power and Becoming Prime Minister Will Remain on the Agenda: Robert Kocharyan

Undoubtedly, the issue of taking power and becoming Prime Minister will remain on the agenda, otherwise, what is the purpose of entering parliament? Today, during a press conference organized by the 'Armenia' alliance, the second President of Armenia and the alliance's candidate for Prime Minister, Robert Kocharyan, spoke about the results of the elections and the reasons for entering parliament.

'Yes, our goal was a complete victory; we have taken the first trenches, and we must strengthen ourselves in those trenches and ensure total victory. Do you think we are going to parliament for some mandates? No, we are going to take power and be responsible for the country. This is the goal,' he said.

Kocharyan noted that this issue cannot be removed from the agenda as long as the current authorities are at the helm. He emphasized that this question will only come off the agenda when a different national authority replaces the current one. 'If that happens, then I will consider myself a free person and engage in my activities, but these people are simply a danger to the Republic of Armenia and have proved through their entire activities that they are a threat, and that threat must be removed.'
