Azerbaijan Ready to Accept UNESCO Mission

Azerbaijan is ready to accept the UNESCO mission and is urging the organization to expedite the process. This was announced by the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister. In particular, the UNESCO mission could visit the Agdam and Fizuli regions, as well as the city of Shushi.

Additionally, discussions have taken place between Baku and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees regarding the implementation of the mission by the Commissioner’s staff in Azerbaijan. Currently, according to the statement, Baku is awaiting responses from two UN entities.
