Gunshots Heard Near John Kirakosyan School, Shell Casings Found

Today, on June 21, gunshots were reported in Yerevan. Around 21:00, the central police department received a call about gunfire on Aigestani Street, near the John Kirakosyan School (commonly known as Dzerzhinsky School).

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, police discovered seven shell casings from a firearm at the location. Currently, Senior Investigator Sevan Nazaryan from the central police department’s investigative division is examining the site. Preparations are underway for necessary actions.

The police are taking operational-investigative measures to identify the shooter and locate both the individual and the firearm. According to sources, law enforcement officials already have a potential suspect's identity based on leads. An operational group from the Marash police department, led by the department head Alik Grigoryan, has also arrived promptly.
