Today in Yerevan, the suspect in gunfire is a U.S. citizen

Today, June 20, gunfire was heard in Yerevan. At around 15:40, the Arabkir police received a report that a citizen was firing random shots from one of the floors of the building at 16/b Gulakyan Street.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, it has been established that a resident of the 4th floor of the mentioned building, 41-year-old Armen Petrosyan, fired six shots into the air with his firearm. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries.

Several citizens gathered at the scene stated that the shooter is a citizen of the United States and, according to him, he fired shots to make the eagles flee and to avoid harming the pigeons.
