Early Parliamentary Elections Kicked Off in Armenia, Polling Stations Opened at 08:00
This morning at 08:00, the early parliamentary elections in Armenia officially began. According to current information, all 2008 polling stations across the country have opened on time without any obstacles.
Notably, 479 of these stations are located in the capital city of Yerevan, while 1,529 are situated in the regions.
It is important to remember that 25 political forces are participating in the early elections, including 4 alliances and 21 parties. According to official data, the total number of citizens eligible to vote in Armenia is 2,578,678.
The largest number of voters resides in Yerevan, with 855,631, while the smallest number is found in Vayots Dzor region, counting 45,791. A total of 363 citizens have the right to vote electronically, comprising employees of Armenian diplomatic representations and their adult family members living abroad.
